Study: Vyšehrad

Look behind you as you gaze at the Vltava, and you will notice a quiet hilltop. Typical with any story that revolves myth and legend to “where the castle should be built”, this Bohemian one includes a tale with a horse similar to Mr. Ed, and some magic. Walking through the gates and hills above Prague, I became aware of the historical depth and legend that sits beneath my feet. Stones centuries old, sculptures, grave stones, sculptures, and architectural significance buildings, left its permanent mark on my brain. Not to mention science fiction legend, Karel Čapek, as well as past histories buried at this sight, these graves still haves stories to tell, as long as you have ears to listen.

Podívejte se za sebe, když se díváte na Vltavu, a všimnete si tichého vrcholu kopce. Když jsem procházel branami a kopci nad Prahou, uvědomoval jsem si historickou hloubku a legendu, která mi sedí pod nohama. Kameny staré staletí, sochy, náhrobky, sochy a architektonicky významné budovy, zanechaly v mém mozku trvalé stopy. Nemluvě o sci-fi legendě Karlu Čapkovi, stejně jako o minulých historkách pohřbených na tomto místě, tyto hroby mají stále co vyprávět, pokud máte uši k poslechu.
